WAKKA! Records is an independent, Southern California-based record label and musical collective. The artists on WAKKA! specialize in alternative, often-electronically based music that defies categorization and blows minds daily. With the band Puro Soviet as its flagship and founding group, the WAKKA! crew operates as at least 10 distinct bands, with most members participating in Puro in some way or another in addition to their own acts. Categorizing WAKKA!'s music is impossible, with styles ranging from laptop punk to underground hip-hop to latin to techno-metal with robots. Look out for WAKKA!
